Since I'm forced to acknowledge the fact that October is here, a little bit of creative writing is due.
Of all the seasons, autumn is my second favorite, after spring. The reason it is not my first choice is because it is freezing cold in the morning and at night, there are spiders everywhere and it means that winter is approaching fast.
Though those things are nothing compared to the endless cups of tea, steaming mugs that contain hot chocolate and marshmellows, chunks of chocolate, the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets (if you, like me, belong to the lucky commuters that have to get up at the crack of freaking dawn), crackling candles, the explosion of color that expanses to every tree, soft gloves; hats and scarves that keep you cosy, rain that lulls you to sleep as it falls down on your roof or allows you to curl up on the couch with a good book, fires in the chimney, the scent of cinnamon in your hot chocolate, long and hot showers, the fresh air in the morning when the mist has just vanished and also the feel of coming in a warm home after the cold outside…
Alrighty, autumn, let's get crack-a-lackin' as long as the winter doesn't set in soon, i'm very content with the prospect of all these happy thoughts happening
